(Nashville, Tennessee - January 30, 2025) Country Radio Seminar (CRS) is thrilled to unveil details of the upcoming CRS Honors, a special event celebrating the achievements, legacy, and future of country radio. Scheduled for Wednesday, February 19, at 2:00 p.m., this highly anticipated ceremony will bring together members of the country music and radio communities for an unforgettable afternoon of tributes, recognition, and powerful performances.
This year’s CRS Honors will feature multi-platinum, award-winning artist Megan Moroney and ACM Award winner Tigirlily Gold, delivering poignant performances. Tigirlily Gold will open the ceremony with their stirring rendition of the national anthem, while Megan Moroney will take center stage during the emotional “In Memoriam” segment to honor the lives and legacies of those the country music and radio community have lost over the past year.
The event will also recognize outstanding talent and dedication within the industry. Four prestigious scholarships will be awarded: the Rusty Walker Scholarship, the Lisa McKay Women in Radio Scholarship, the Futuri Scholarship, and the Mentoring and Inspiring Women Scholarship. These awards spotlight individuals who have demonstrated remarkable potential and a commitment to shaping the future of country radio.
In addition, CRS Honors will spotlight the vital work of the Broadcasters Foundation of America, recognizing the organization’s mission to provide critical support and aid to broadcasters in need. This acknowledgment reflects the country radio community’s ongoing commitment to compassion and resilience.
The ceremony will conclude with the highly anticipated announcement of the Country Radio Hall of Fame Class of 2025. This year’s inductees represent the pinnacle of achievement in country radio, celebrating their lasting contributions and influence on the industry.

About Megan Moroney: A Country phenomenon with major star power and massive talent to match, Megan Moroney is the rare artist to earn icon status soon after breaking onto the scene. With over 2.29 BILLION total global streams to date, the Georgia-bred singer/songwriter kicked off the latest era of her formidable career with her critically acclaimed sophomore album Am I Okay?: a July 2024 release that debuted at No. 9 on the Billboard 200, emerged as the year’s third-biggest debut from a female Country artist, and won rave reviews from many of the music world’s leading publications (including Rolling Stone, The New York Times, Variety, Billboard, American Songwriter, and more). Featuring the Emo Cowgirl’s post-breakup ballad “No Caller ID” — a track that shattered the record for the biggest Country female song debut in streams in the U.S. — Am I Okay? continues the meteoric rise first set in motion with “Tennessee Orange,” a 3X PLATINUM #1 hit included on her 2023 blockbuster debut Lucky. Soon after Lucky’s arrival, Moroney began amassing a steady stream of accolades, including winning Breakthrough Female Video of the Year at the 2023 CMT Music Awards, MusicRow’s Breakout Artist of the Year at the 2024 CountryBreakout Awards, New Female Artist of the Year at the 2024 ACM Awards (where she reigned as the most nominated female artist with SIX NODS), and New Artist of the Year at the 2024 CMA Awards, in addition to earning nominations for the People’s Choice Country, iHeart, and Billboard Music Awards. The latest in a hot streak of headline tours, Moroney’s AM I OKAY? TOUR launches in March, following wildly successful runs like THE LUCKY 2.0 TOUR (a spring/summer 2024 trek that sold out in just five minutes) and the GEORGIA GIRL TOUR (a sold-out 15-date tour of UK/Europe). Bringing her notoriously dazzling live show to audiences all over, she’s played stadiums across the country as support for Kenny Chesney and taken the stage at high-profile festivals like Stagecoach and Lollapalooza.
About Tigirlily Gold: Sister duo Tigirlily Gold has been playing music together since they could walk, and officially formed their band in high school. Growing up, they crisscrossed the mid-west, growing a fierce fan base and playing amphitheaters across their home state of North Dakota. After moving to Nashville, they landed a weekly residence at Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row on Nashville’s famed lower Broadway. Playing four-hour sets, three to four nights a week, the sisters developed a performance style that’s not only captivating and fun but shows just how entertaining is in their blood.
The powerhouse duo released their debut album, Blonde, in July 2024. Blonde is a deeply personal project that includes tales of love and loss alongside powerful anthems and songs of female empowerment. Their debut single at country radio, “Shoot Tequila,” reached the Top 40 and found viral success with millions of views across social media, and millions of streams across platforms. Their follow-up single, “I Tried A Ring On,” surpassed the first, becoming their first Top 30 single at country radio. The success of the Blonde helped Tigirlily Gold get nominated for two CMT awards, two People’s Choice Country awards, and win their first ACM award for New Duo/Group of the Year.
With brand new music set for release in 2025, the sister duo is ready to bring girl group energy back to country music. Tigirlily Gold is poised for a breakthrough year.
